Sura 80 He Frowned
He (Muhammad) frowned and turned away. 2When the blind man came to him. 3How do you know? He may purify himself. 4Or he may take heed, and benefit from the message. 5As for the rich man. 6You gave him your attention. 7Even though you could not guarantee his salvation. 8The one who came to you eagerly. 9And is really reverent. 10You ignored him. 11Indeed, this is a reminder. 12Whoever wills shall take heed. 13In honorable scriptures. 14Exalted and pure. 15(Written) by the hands of messengers. 16Who are honorable and righteous. 17Woe to the human being; he is so unappreciative! 18What did He create him from? 19From a tiny drop, He creates him and designs him. 20Then He points out the path for him. 21Then He puts him to death, and into the grave. 22When He wills, He resurrects him. 23He shall uphold His commandments. 24Let the human consider his food! 25We pour the water generously. 26Then we split the soil open. 27We grow in it grains. 28Grapes and pasture. 29Olives and palms.
30A variety of orchards. 31Fruits and vegetables. 32To provide life support for you and your animals. 33Then, when the blow comes to pass. 34That is the day when one flees from his brother. 35From his mother and father. 36From his spouse and children. 37Each one of them, on that day, worries about his own destiny. 38Some faces on that day will be happy. 39Laughing and joyful. 40Other faces, on that day, will be covered with misery. 41Overwhelmed by remorse. 42These are the wicked disbelievers.
